made by milla is inspired by camilla's love of 1950s advertising and housewife magazines (of which she has a stupidly large collection), the need to be warm and cozy and the idea that it's about time 'traditional' womanly skills and apparel were reclaimed by a new generation of women

made by milla features a range of items including aprons, hot water bottle covers and cushions, alongside badges and cards- each one handmade by camilla in her home by the english seaside.

Clothing for the lumpy, not frumpy.

There's a lot of great independent design about (take a look at the links page to see what I mean) but there's not a lot that fits me- so I asked around and I found out that I wasn't alone- there's many people who would love to wear unique, handcrafted clothing, and who are sick of sizes that only go up to a very small 'large'.

miss-shapes is different to other clothing lines- all the sizes are large- the smallest size I make is a UK 14 (US 12) and I go up to a UK 24 (US 22) as standard. I can and will make smaller sizes- but i'm going to charge you more and make them out of orange nylon.
